These are possibly the best oatmeal cookies I have ever eaten, much less made. The dough is JUST as delicious as the baked product. Everything is perfectly balanced and they are a perfect dense and chewy texture.
I recently made these for a tea party and they were devoured. And then I was begged for the recipe! These do not disappoint.
The recipe, found on Allrecipes, is very simple and very quick. I didn’t make any adjustments. (Besides not chilling the dough. Who wants to wait that long for cookies?)
Just make sure to keep an eye on them and don’t let them overcook, because then they get REALLY hard. Take them out at the stated time, even if they don’t look all the way baked.
